Product Manager (Fintech)

Product Manager (Fintech): Owning the Accounting & Finance Automation pillar to define how global finance teams manage corporate spend data, maintain financial accuracy, integrate with existing systems, and handle compliance. Focus on translating complex requirements into elegant product solutions and leveraging AI to transform manual processes into automated workflows.

Location: Based out of São Paulo, Brazil, with a flexible schedule to come into the office. Preference for candidates based in Mexico, Colombia, or Brazil.

What you will do

• Own the accounting user experience end-to-end, designing products for accountants, controllers, and finance teams.
• Understand accounting workflows, data flows, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify high-impact automation opportunities and balance AI capabilities with accounting precision.
• Define how hirify.global connects with ERP systems and other platforms, ensuring data flows seamlessly.
• Conduct customer interviews and partner with finance teams to understand their needs.
• Define the product roadmap, understand the competitive landscape, and stay current on accounting standards.

Requirements

• Must fit one of these two profiles: Accountant/Controller with Product Experience or Product Manager with Integration/Financial Systems Experience.
• Strong analytical skills with SQL, data analysis, and building models.
• Hands-on comfort with AI tooling and a strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP and/or IFRS).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Based in Latin America, preferably Mexico, Colombia, or Brazil.
• Willingness to work across global time zones, including up to 10% travel.

Nice to have

• Experience with expense management, AP automation, or spend management products.
• Background in management consulting with a focus on finance/accounting transformations.
• Experience working with global, multi-entity companies with complex accounting requirements.
• Knowledge of SOX compliance, internal controls, and audit requirements.
