Senior Data Engineer

Senior Data Engineer (Databricks/DBT): Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality data solutions, leading the migration of data platforms from Snowflake on AWS to Azure Databricks and DBT with an accent on scalable data pipelines and transformations. Focus on troubleshooting and optimizing cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, and integration processes, while documenting best practices and configurations.

What you will do

• Lead and support the migration of data platforms from Snowflake on AWS to Azure Databricks and DBT in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Design and implement scalable data pipelines and transformations to ensure reliable data processing during and after migration.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform to support secure and scalable cloud data environments.
• Troubleshoot and optimize cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, and integration processes while documenting best practices and configurations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering working with modern cloud data platforms
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Azure Databricks, and DBT in production environments
• Strong experience implementing infrastructure as code using Terraform
• Experience leading or supporting cloud-to-cloud data migration projects
• Strong proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and ETL or ELT data pipeline development
