Systems Engineer (Riyadh)

Location: Must be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with 50% travel across the country expected.

What you will do

• Conduct web-based and on-site product demonstrations and technical training for customers and partners.
• Manage end-to-end presales activities, including identifying opportunities, qualifying leads, and conducting Proof of Concepts (POCs).
• Prepare technical documentation such as Bills of Materials (B.O.M), RFPs, and RFQs aligned with customer infrastructure requirements.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with customers, Solution Architects, and System Integrators.
• Provide technical compliance and competitive analysis to support sales initiatives.
• Participate in marketing events and provide expert technical consultation to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Must be located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and comfortable with 50% domestic travel.
• Proficiency in both English and Arabic is required.
• Strong hands-on experience with virtualization technologies including VMware, Nutanix AHV, RedHat, and Microsoft in large-scale environments.
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms, specifically AWS and Microsoft Azure.
• Ability to engage in high-level business conversations with stakeholders and C-Level executives.
• Self-starter attitude with the ability to learn complex new technologies quickly.

Nice to have

• VMCE certification or willingness to obtain it post-hiring.
• Experience with Kubernetes platforms and database systems (Oracle, SQL, DB2, SAP).
• Familiarity with data security frameworks such as GDPR, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, and local Saudi regulations like NDMO, NCA, and SAMA.
• Knowledge of Data Security Posture Management (DSPM).
