TL;DR
Senior IT Specialist: Providing world-class IT support to hirify.global employees globally with an accent on managing support tickets, documenting troubleshooting steps, and supporting onboarding. Focus on improving team efficiency and workflow.
Location: Must join our Bogota Office. All hub-based hirify.globalns are expected to be in the office for a minimum of twice per week on one of our Anchor Days.
Salary: Eligible employees may request a one-time, non-salary allowance of COP 550,000 to improve their home desk/ergonomic chair. Eligible employees receive a non-salary telework allowance of COP 130,000 per month.

What you will do
- Provide world-class IT support to hirify.global employees globally, managing inbound tickets from submission to resolution.
- Document troubleshooting steps in detail and communicate solutions clearly to end users.
- Support the onboarding process for new employees, managing access to systems, applications, and various technologies.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date hardware inventory using asset management tools, ensuring smooth asset lifecycle management.
- Manage procurement and logistics for hardware and software, coordinating orders, deliveries, and repairs with vendors.
- Prioritize IT security protocols, collaborating with the team to support a zero-trust environment through tools like Okta.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in IT support or related roles.
- Experience managing inbound tickets from submission to resolution, ensuring timely responses and thorough follow-up.
- Skilled in recording troubleshooting steps and communicating solutions clearly to end users to improve understanding and support transparency.
- Ability to review IT processes and contribute ideas that help improve team efficiency and workflow.
- Experience using Kandji and InTune with a foundational understanding of mobile device management (MDM) on the macOS and Windows platforms.
- Solid working knowledge of macOS, iOS, and Windows systems, with the ability to support a diverse range of user needs.
Nice to have
- Exposure to managing or coordinating small to medium-sized IT projects, working to meet deadlines and project goals.
- Bring hands-on experience with Okta or a similar single sign-on (SSO) platform, supporting identity and access management tasks.
