Senior Embedded Linux Developer (Embedded IoT Dev): Design and implement core software architecture and embedded Linux user space application code for next-generation smart glasses. Salary: €3,843 / month (minimum, actual salary above market competitive)

What you will do
- Design and implement core software architecture for embedded systems.
- Develop and maintain Embedded Linux user space application code with hands-on development.
- Create scalable, maintainable, and reliable software designs.
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams to build integrated systems.
- Set architectural standards and guide technical decisions.
Requirements
- 6+ years experience in Embedded Linux software development.
- Proficiency in Rust or C++ with experience building robust embedded architectures.
- Strong knowledge of multimedia formats (MP4, H.264), network protocols (HTTP, RTSP, RTP), and hardware interfaces (USB, Wi-Fi, BLE).
- Experience with hardware-software integration and focus on performance and reliability.
- Location: Must be based in Vienna, Austria or able to work hybrid on-site.

- Background in streaming or real-time communication systems.
- Familiarity with Agile or iterative development methodologies.
