What you will do

• Manage and grow a high-performing detection and response team to support rapid organizational scaling.
• Develop scalable, AI-leveraged security solutions to enhance self-service observability across the platform.
• Build partnerships with product, infrastructure, and research teams to integrate security monitoring best practices.
• Own and improve incident response, threat intelligence, and data management policies.
• Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the maturity and effectiveness of detection lifecycle capabilities.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to balance operational demands with long-term security innovation.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in detection and response within cloud-native organizations.
• 5+ years of engineering management experience in security teams.
• Deep expertise in security monitoring, incident response, and forensics best practices.
• Hands-on experience securing complex environments using Kubernetes and AWS or GCP.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex security topics to cross-functional stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience is required.
