Salary: USD $175,000 - $200,000 excluding annual bonus and equity (when applicable). Salary is based on a number of factors including market conditions, location and may vary depending on job-related skills and experience.

What you will do

• Partner with the modernization team to replatform software to a cloud-native web architecture.
• Contribute directly to backend and frontend development, lead architecture discussions and perform high-quality code reviews.
• Champion and institutionalize AI-assisted development workflows.
• Implement strong CI/CD and DevSecOps practices.

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive software engineering experience.
• 3+ years in a senior technical leadership role (Director, Principal, Manager, Staff+).
• Strong hands-on experience with C# / .NET, Azure cloud architecture, React / TypeScript, and SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
• Experience modernizing or replatforming complex legacy systems.
• Comfort working in AI-assisted development environments.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience rewriting legacy desktop applications (Delphi or Titanium SDK).
• Familiarity with fire, EMS, or public safety software.
• Experience building or operating multi-tenant SaaS systems.
• Experience working in fast-paced or startup-like environments.
• Experience managing distributed teams in various locations.
