Quest Designer (GameDev): Designing quests and writing dialogue for a game focused on humor and player engagement with an accent on combining existing systems and ensuring logical quest architecture. Focus on writing witty dialogue and handling edge cases in multiplayer scenarios.

Location: We work on-site at our cozy office in central Copenhagen.

What you will do

• Collaborate with game designers on systems and spaces.
• Design quests using existing systems in interesting ways.
• Design quest architecture, mapping objectives, rewards, and NPC interactions.
• Write witty dialogue, item names, quest titles, and achievement descriptions.
• Document your work to ensure team alignment.

Requirements

• A strong portfolio with game writing samples.
• Expertise working with quest and dialogue setups, preferably using branching node graphs.
• Native or near-native English.
• Comfort working within someone else’s creative vision.
• Expertise in at least one game engine; Unity is preferred.
• A structured approach to design work and documentation.
• A resilient attitude toward change and ambiguity.

Nice to have

• Experience with quest-heavy games.
• Experience designing for multiplayer games.
