What you will do

• Design, build, and improve cloud-based applications within the learning platform.
• Develop and maintain robust APIs to power platform functionality.
• Ensure software performance, security, and data privacy across all components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore new technical possibilities.
• Utilize AI-based assistants to accelerate development and identify issues early.
• Document technical processes to ensure team maintainability and speed.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• B.Sc. degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
• Must be able to work on-site in Bergen, Norway
• Strong proficiency in C#/.NET and modern frontend frameworks like Svelte
• Deep understanding of API development and cloud infrastructure (AWS)
• English proficiency required

Nice to have

• Experience or interest in Norwegian language
• Practical knowledge of NoSQL databases like DynamoDB or MongoDB
• Experience with security-first development practices
