What you will do

• Automate and orchestrate workloads across on-prem infrastructure.
• Collaborate with developers and QA teams to foster a DevOps culture and modernize release strategies.
• Lead and participate in architectural discussions to build robust system foundations.
• Capture and share industry-standard best practices across the engineering department.

Requirements

• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Golang or Python.
• Hands-on experience with the full software development lifecycle.
• Understanding of VM and container virtualization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Practical experience with Agile practices including XP, Scrum, and TDD.
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals and their practical application.

Nice to have

• Experience with large-scale distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with Service Mesh and Service Discovery tools like Istio, Linkerd, Consul, or Envoy.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
