What you will do

• Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable iOS features for news and entertainment applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and product managers, to refine technical requirements.
• Perform peer reviews and participate in architectural discussions at the product and team levels.
• Help troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.
• Mentor and support the growth of fellow developers.
• Stay current with new technologies, specifically integrating AI tools into daily development workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional iOS development experience.
• Deep proficiency in Swift and UIKit, with solid knowledge of SwiftUI concepts and limitations.
• Experience designing scalable, maintainable, and testable mobile architectures.
• Strong background in working with backend service APIs, push notifications, and cloud messaging.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Must be able to work from hirify.global offices in Helsinki or Tampere, Finland.
