TL;DR

Focus on implementing strategic HR practices, ensuring local compliance, and partnering with global leadership to drive performance and employee engagement.

Location: Must be based in Medellín, Colombia (Hybrid role).

What you will do

  • Lead the full HR function in Colombia while serving as the site leader for the Medellín office.
  • Partner with department heads and global leadership to align people strategies with business objectives.
  • Implement performance management, employee development, and engagement initiatives to support a high-performing culture.
  • Ensure full compliance with Colombian employment laws and regulations.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor for employee relations, conflict resolution, and leadership guidance.
  • Drive improvements in people programs using HR metrics and data-driven insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • 7+ years of HR leadership experience in a global or fast-growing organization.
  • Strong knowledge of Colombian labor law and HR best practices.
  • Professional-level proficiency in English (spoken and written).
  • Experience with HRIS systems and recruitment platforms.
  • Demonstrated operational leadership experience as a site leader or operational partner.

Nice to have

  • Experience in a technology, SaaS, or professional services environment.
  • Background in supporting fast-growing organizations.
  • Experience working in hybrid or distributed team environments.
