What you will do

• Build Databricks notebooks and visualizations to compare existing and new data streams, scheduled to run daily.
• Troubleshoot and identify the root cause for missing data and volume discrepancies.
• Open data quality issues to respective teams and follow up on fixes.
• Report data quality improvements and current comparisons in an understandable format to all stakeholders and leadership.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial experience.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
• Experience with Databricks or similar data platforms.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate data discrepancies.
• Experience with data quality checks, data validation, or data comparison.
• Ability to work with data pipelines and event-based data streams.
• Experience creating dashboards or data visualizations (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
• Ability to communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to troubleshooting data issues.
