TL;DR
Senior PHP Web Developer (Web3): Designing and implementing new features and maintaining existing web applications such as the company's website, registration forms, Members Area and internal web services with an accent on using Kubernetes and Terraform on PHP, Go, React & Angular on AWS. Focus on researching and integrating new web technologies, writing tests and resolving support tickets.
Location: Athens, Limassol, Nicosia, or Thessaloniki; hybrid workplace

's Engineering – Software Development department builds and maintains web applications, registration forms, member areas, and internal web services.
What you will do
- Design and implement new features and software projects.
- Maintain and refactor the company website, registration forms, Members Area, and internal web services.
- Research and integrate web technologies that add value to the engineering team.
- Write continuously running tests, maintain high test coverage, and uphold engineering standards.
- Address and resolve support tickets for assigned projects.
Requirements
- BSc/MSc in information technology or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar position.
- Very good knowledge of PHP 8+, MySQL, Redis, Git, object-oriented programming, modern PHP frameworks, and PHPUnit.
- Experience creating and consuming web services.
- Ability to research and adopt new technologies, prioritize work, solve problems, and work independently within a team.
Nice to have
- Experience with Symfony, REST APIs, design patterns, SOLID, and DRY principles.
- Understanding of OWASP security practices.
- Experience with AWS or other cloud providers, database query optimization, and Composer package development.
