Senior Data Engineer

TL;DR

Senior Data Engineer (Data Science/ML): Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines, transformations, and processing frameworks using Python, Databricks, and SQL with an accent on scalable, high-quality data workflows. Focus on building and maintaining data engineering solutions for analytical and operational use cases in a SCRUM-based environment.

Location: Onsite in Ukraine (Dnipro, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Lviv, Odesa)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and transformation workflows
• Work hands-on with Python, Databricks, and SQL for data processing and aggregation
• Collaborate with a technical team of 8 internal and 20+ client specialists in a SCRUM environment
• Support scalable and high-quality data workflows for analytical and operational use cases

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Ukraine cities: Dnipro, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Lviv, or Odesa
• 4+ years experience as Data Engineer or Data Developer
• Strong Python skills for data processing and transformation
• Experience with Databricks and SQL on large data volumes
• Good spoken English (B2 level or higher)

Nice to have

• Experience with Qlik for data visualization or reporting
• Experience with Azure data services (Azure Storage, Azure Data Factory)
