What you will do

• Drive visual direction and creative consistency across animation, live action, print, digital, experiential, in-game, and consumer products.
• Collaborate closely with writers, producers, designers, game teams, licensing, and marketing to align visual execution with storytelling goals.
• Develop and maintain brand systems, style guides, and visual frameworks for franchise projects.
• Art direct collaborations with global brands and entertainment partners ensuring on-brand and culturally relevant outputs.
• Champion high creative standards by providing clear, constructive feedback to internal and external teams.
• Explore new creative mediums and styles while preserving franchise DNA.

Requirements

• Location: Must be hybrid in San Francisco or Los Angeles with onsite presence expected
• Proven experience as an Art Director or Senior Designer across multiple media formats, preferably in entertainment, marketing, gaming, or consumer brands.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating diverse visual styles and brand coherence.
• Expertise in visual storytelling and character-driven worlds.
• Ability to guide creative teams with clear feedback and inspiring direction.
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, iterative environment with varied project scales.
