What you will do

• Lead licensing and regulatory authorization processes end-to-end.
• Represent the company in regulatory consultations and industry forums.
• Provide regulatory insights and risk assessments to internal teams.
• Support strategic planning for product launches and market expansions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, compliance, finance, and technology teams.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years experience in governmental, regulatory affairs or legal roles within financial services or crypto in South Africa.
• Proven track record engaging with regulators and securing favorable policy outcomes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, including public speaking and regulatory representation.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across borders and time zones.
• Strong team player with hands-on, independent work capability.
