Salary: £45,000 - £52,000 plus £5,441 London Weighting

What you will do

• Troubleshoot IP networking issues including TCP/IP, VLAN, routing, switching, multicast, and network diagnostics impacting media systems.
• Provide expert operational support for post-production systems such as Avid, EVS, shared storage, and file-based workflows.
• Lead and coordinate technical incident response to minimize impact on studio operations and programme delivery.
• Support and optimize Avid and EVS environments working closely with production and editorial teams.
• Manage file transfer and content movement services ensuring secure and reliable media delivery.
• Monitor and resolve storage performance and capacity issues to maintain operational resilience.

Requirements

• Location: Must be able to work on-site at London Elstree Studios and London Television Centre
• Demonstrated expertise in IP networking design and troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting Avid and EVS post-production workflows in broadcast or studio environments.
• Administrative-level experience with Windows, Linux, and macOS systems in production or operational settings.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues in time-critical situations, including command line proficiency.
• Experience leading technical incident response and maintaining service continuity.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to support production and editorial users.
• Experience with live/studio broadcast workflows and baseband video/audio systems.

Nice to have

• Avid Certified Support Representative (ACSR) or equivalent experience.
• EVS certification and hands-on experience with EVS platforms.
• Networking certification and practical IP networking knowledge in media environments.
• Experience with virtualized or cloud-based systems including containers.
• Experience producing technical documentation and system diagrams using tools like AutoCAD.
