Location: Office Base is Salford, MediaCityUK, Dock House. This is a hybrid role and the successful candidate will balance office working with home working.

Salary: up to £46,933 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience.

What you will do

• Develop innovative application features and perform integrations across a range of TV devices.
• Enhance the TV platform that powers both iPlayer and hirify.global Sounds.
• Review new features and lead/contribute to testing activities.
• Foster a collaborative culture through knowledge dissemination, coaching, and mentoring.
• Support in evolving and elevating the test discipline.

Requirements

• Experience in testing TV platforms/devices.
• Experience in testing non-functional aspects (Performance, Load, Accessibility & Automation) including Playwright.
• Experience working in multi-discipline teams using Agile methodologies.
• Experience with testing APIs.
• Experience with writing automation tests using JavaScript/ TypeScript.

Nice to have

• Ability to test, deploy, and support software in a complex, high volume, high performance environment.
• Actively embraces extreme programming practices such as pair programming, TDD, and CI.
• Experience of AWS cloud technologies, such as EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, AWS Lambda.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
