What you will do

• Design and develop enterprise-grade software including proof-of-concept and new features
• Support and maintain existing codebases, including legacy systems
• Investigate and resolve internal and customer issues
• Develop test automation coverage for software components
• Contribute software expertise to team success in an agile environment
• Actively pursue software development best practices

Requirements

• Location: Waterloo, Ontario, Canada (onsite)
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Experience in enterprise application development from backend to frontend
• Strong Java programming skills
• Good English written and verbal communication skills
• Commitment to team collaboration and tackling legacy code challenges

Nice to have

• Interest in securing communications for large enterprises and governments
• Experience with Git, Gerrit, JIRA, XML, JSON, REST
