What you will do

• Lead technology excellence and engineering best practices within the Core Systems domain
• Maintain a collaborative, inclusive team environment and drive projects to completion
• Mentor and guide engineers’ professional and technical development
• Ensure delivery of high-quality, scalable, and customer-centric internal tools and solutions
• Manage team backlog, prioritize work, and align short- and long-term goals
• Collaborate with recruiting to hire diverse high-potential candidates

Requirements

• Must reside in and be fully eligible to work in Spain or the United Kingdom
• Minimum 5 years hands-on technical experience in cloud-native environments with AWS and Docker
• Minimum 2 years experience leading teams and guiding career development
• Strong understanding of application security and testing practices
• Fluent English communication skills

Nice to have

• Experience in telecommunications, network infrastructure, and eSIM/GSMA technologies
• Expertise in building internal tooling and shared SDKs for web, iOS, and Android platforms
