TL;DR

Lead .NET Engineer: Architecting, designing, and delivering scalable software solutions across client engagements with an accent on technical leadership, communication, and stakeholder management. Location: Leeds, UK. Hybrid, 2 days a week in office.

Salary: Circa £90k

What you will do

  • Lead technical design, solution architecture, and end‑to‑end delivery across client projects.
  • Define and uphold engineering standards, ensuring platforms are scalable, secure, and future‑proof.
  • Work with stakeholders, product owners, and senior client teams to shape requirements and solutions.
  • Write high‑quality, maintainable .NET code backed by strong testing strategies.
  • Support and mentor engineers of varying experience levels, driving a culture of learning and excellence.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Lead or Senior .NET/C# engineering role, with ownership of technical decisions and delivery.
  • Strong background in designing and developing modern, cloud‑based architectures.
  • Expertise in C#/.NET, plus capability in at least one additional backend language (Java, Golang, Python, etc.).
  • Familiarity with front‑end ecosystems such as React, Vue, or Angular.
  • Solid grounding in data design, handling, security, and integration patterns.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team‑leadership skills.
