What you will do

• Build and sustain senior relationships across Asia-Pacific ministries and multilateral security frameworks such as ASEAN, AUKUS, and the Quad.
• Represent hirify.global with senior officials, lawmakers, and multilateral bodies in regional security dialogues and Track 1/1.5 channels.
• Lead engagement with think tanks, research institutions, and industry groups on AI, security, and resilience.
• Coordinate with APAC regional and global policy teams to align national security strategy.
• Track and shape AI-related policy developments in defense, intelligence, dual-use tech, and export controls.
• Draft policy briefs and advise internal teams on AI applications for security, defense, and critical infrastructure.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Singapore, Tokyo, or Sydney with willingness to travel regionally and to the US
• 10+ years experience in Asia-Pacific or Indo-Pacific security, including government or multilateral contexts.
• Established network with senior government officials and multilateral institutions in national security or technology policy.
• Outstanding communication and diplomatic skills across cultures and political systems.
• Familiarity with emerging technology issues, especially dual-use AI capabilities, CBRN, and cybersecurity.
• English proficiency: C1 or higher required
