What you will do

• Prepare and analyze real estate financial statements.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for properties and portfolios.
• Analyze property performance, budgets, and financial variances.
• Assist with accounting activities such as reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries.
• Maintain and review financial data within property management systems.
• Support audits, lender reporting, and investor reporting as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role.
• Strong experience with real estate financials and accounting.
• Solid understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Ability to work 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Central US Time

Nice to have

• Experience using Yardi or other property management systems (AppFolio, MRI, RealPage).
• Experience supporting real estate portfolios or asset management teams.
• Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
