What you will do

• Enforce adherence to the PMO governance framework and ensure compliance with methodologies, controls, and documentation standards.
• Perform independent governance reviews, stage‑gate checks, and assurance activities across the project lifecycle.
• Produce portfolio‑level governance reporting and dashboards for PMO leadership and senior management.
• Identify cross‑project themes, systemic risks, and recurring control issues, providing analysis and recommendations.
• Support the evolution of the PMO governance framework and maintain minimum mandatory standards for project controls.
• Build effective working relationships with Project Managers while maintaining independent governance authority.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent experience in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Experience in a PMO, project governance, assurance, or control role within a complex, multi‑project environment.
• Strong understanding of project management frameworks (PRINCE2, APM, Agile) and governance best practice.
• Proven experience conducting governance reviews, assurance activities, or quality control.
• Ability to analyse data, identify patterns, and translate findings into actionable insight.
• Strong proficiency in PMO and reporting tools (Excel, PowerPoint, project systems such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent).
