What you will do

• Design the underlying patterns for booking flows, checkout journeys, and multi-tenant configurations.
• Define the "North Star" for Scala-based distributed systems, ensuring robust, maintainable patterns for global scale.
• Lead the evolution of the platform to support "configuration over customization" for partners.
• Conduct deep-dive design reviews, mentor senior engineers, and foster a culture of high-ownership.
• Lead the design, build, and operate API and full-stack solutions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product and external partner teams to ensure foundational logic is robust and extensible.

Requirements

• Deep experience with distributed system development in Scala.
• Prioritize "configuration over customization," building modular systems that support multiple partners with minimal manual intervention.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong product thinking anchored in the customer experience.
