What you will do

• Coordinate with team members to maximize the impact on systems and automation.
• Partner with leadership to champion changes that improve processes while maintaining mortality expectations.
• Champion data-driven underwriting practices and provide recommendations for new technologies and methodologies for automation and process efficiency.
• Provide guidance on the development, testing, and implementation of new AI tools and predictive models.
• Develop workflows, create pilot plans, and establish rollout plans for new solutions.
• Monitor industry and carrier developments around AI initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 10+ years of relevant work experience in Life Underwriting.
• Experience leading special projects, including underwriting automation systems.
• Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to develop strategy and execution plans.
• Strong understanding of life insurance products, underwriting processes, and the regulatory environment.

• Experience/continuing education related to machine learning and artificial intelligence.
