Senior Software Engineer, Android: Leading the architecture, design, and implementation of consumer-facing features in the hirify.global App with an accent on building compelling in-app experiences. Location: This is a hybrid role and requires in-office collaboration three days per week. This position is located in Ghent Belgium.

What you will do

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of consumer-facing features in the hirify.global App.
• Build new compelling in-app experiences that will reach millions of users globally.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, product managers and designers to influence the roadmap and product development of hirify.global’s App and services.
• Create and maintain internal shared frameworks and libraries.
• Mentor, collaborate, and learn with innovative and passionate team members

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience building native Android applications
• Significant experience building applications in Kotlin
• Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose
• A strong software architect well versed in design patterns
• Understanding of the value of Dependency Injection and has implemented Dagger
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with excellent communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience designing and architecting full-stack applications, including API design and UI wireframing
• Someone who understands material design guidelines
• The ability to combine good judgment, empathy, and technical skills
• BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering
