Salary: $153,600 - $239,000 annually

What you will do

• Work closely with customers’ development and data science teams to understand business and technical needs and design AI/ML solutions using AWS services.
• Partner with sales, business development, and AI/ML service teams to accelerate customer adoption and revenue in the Americas.
• Evangelize AWS ML services through blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures, and public speaking events.
• Act as a technical liaison between customers and AWS SageMaker service teams to provide product feedback.
• Develop and support an internal AWS community of ML subject matter experts in the Americas.

Requirements

• Must be located in the United States, preferably in California or Washington.
• 8+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, or data analytics.
• 3+ years of experience designing or consulting on applications and infrastructures.
• 2+ years of experience building machine learning models or developing algorithms for business applications.
• Experience with ML fundamentals, large language models, PyTorch or JAX, and AI acceleration hardware.
• Proficiency in prompt engineering, function calling, agentic workflows, embedding model fine tuning, and retrieval method optimization.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.
• Experience building and operating highly available distributed data processing systems.
