TL;DR
Senior Cloud Engineer (Azure): Building and operating secure, scalable Azure landing zones and cloud infrastructure with an accent on Infrastructure as Code, networking, governance, and platform reliability. Focus on automating deployments with Bicep, implementing Azure Policies and connectivity patterns, and resolving complex production incidents while working on an EMEA schedule.

Location: Manila, Philippines; hybrid workplace with office attendance two days per week and remote work on other days. Work on the EMEA schedule.

What you will do

  • Design, implement, and maintain Azure landing zones based on the Cloud Adoption Framework and enterprise platform standards.
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code with Bicep to automate platform components and cloud infrastructure deployments.
  • Implement Azure networking, including virtual networks, private endpoints, virtual WAN, BGP routing, and hybrid connectivity patterns.
  • Define and maintain Azure Policies and governance controls for compliance, security, and consistent configuration.
  • Provide third-level support for complex cloud platform issues, troubleshoot incidents, and improve platform reliability.
  • Contribute to platform automation, monitoring, and operational improvements.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure in platform engineering or cloud infrastructure roles.
  • At least three years of experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Bicep, ARM, or similar declarative tools.
  • Knowledge of Azure networking, including VNets, routing, private connectivity, and hybrid network integration.
  • Experience with Azure governance using Azure Policy, RBAC, and landing zone standards.
  • Experience supporting production environments and handling advanced incident troubleshooting at the third support level.
  • Knowledge of C# or other programming languages and availability to work on the EMEA schedule.
