What you will do

• Ship meaningful improvements and own end-to-end delivery of the AssetLink Shopify app.
• Ensure the app meets Shopify-native standards including embedded Admin UX, APIs, webhooks, and operational readiness.
• Collaborate closely with Shopify and ecosystem partners on roadmaps and integration patterns.
• Run feedback loops with Plus merchants, enterprise brands, and agencies to translate pain points into solutions.
• Own reliability, observability, rollout strategies, and supportability for scalable operations.
• Lead technical discovery, architecture workshops, and produce enablement materials for ecosystem adoption.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in London, United Kingdom.
• 10+ years as a senior software engineer, architect, or technical leader with strong customer-facing experience.
• 7+ years experience with JavaScript and Node.js.
• Deep knowledge of Shopify app development, including embedded apps, Admin UX, API/webhook design, and operational standards.
• Proven experience building reliable integrations at enterprise scale.
• Strong product instincts and executive presence to influence technical and business stakeholders.
• Ability to travel occasionally (under 10%).
