Salary: $110,000–$130,000 per year, plus equity and an annual performance bonus.

What you will do
- Build and maintain automated test suites for APIs, backend services, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Develop tests with Python and Behave BDD to cover new features and system enhancements.
- Integrate automation suites into GitLab CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
- Improve QA frameworks for evolving architectures, including blockchain-based components and smart contracts.
- Build performance and load testing suites for critical backend services and smart-contract interactions.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers on testability, defect workflows, QA metrics, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 8+ years of QA engineering delivery experience, with a strong focus on backend and API testing.
- 4+ years working in Agile SDLC teams, ideally with CI/CD.
- Hands-on Python experience with Behave BDD, test-driven development, and QA design patterns.
- Strong experience testing REST APIs, backend microservices, and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools including GitLab, Git, Jenkins, and Docker.
- Experience with testing tools such as PyTest, Postman or REST tools, and JMeter or similar performance tools.
Nice to have
- Experience with blockchain technologies, smart contracts, distributed ledgers, and blockchain node interaction.
- AI integration experience.
- Exposure to banking or finance environments.
