What you will do

• Develop and implement a global IT category management strategy aligned with company needs and culture.
• Lead strategic sourcing projects and manage third-party spend across IT categories including software, hardware, network, and cybersecurity.
• Build and manage a global IT category management team and collaborate with CIOs, CTOs, and key stakeholders.
• Drive change management initiatives to improve sourcing strategies and vendor relationships.
• Develop and maintain sourcing deliverables such as RFx, cost analysis, and negotiation guides.
• Support supplier diversity and ensure compliance with internal policies and risk management.

Requirements

• Location: Must be able to work hybrid in Newark, NJ with onsite presence 2 days per week.
• 10-15+ years leadership experience in strategic sourcing and category management.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience managing IT spend categories globally including software, hardware, telecom, and cybersecurity.
• Strong project management, analytical, and communication skills.
• Previous consulting experience preferred.
