What you will do

  • Own and grow a named territory of enterprise accounts in the Southeast US through full-cycle sales.
  • Develop account strategies aligning Cursor's capabilities with technical and business priorities of engineering leaders and CTOs.
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure customer value realization.
  • Generate pipeline via outbound prospecting, inbound follow-up, partner referrals, and personal network.
  • Manage complex enterprise procurement including security, legal, and multi-stakeholder negotiations.
  • Provide customer insights to influence product roadmap, pricing, and go-to-market strategies.

Requirements

  • Must have 5+ years of enterprise B2B sales experience, preferably in developer tools or technical SaaS.
  • Based in the Southeast US with an established network in the regional enterprise technology market.
  • Proven ability to proactively build pipeline through outbound prospecting and creative sourcing.
  • Experience navigating complex enterprise buying cycles involving engineering, IT, security, legal, and finance stakeholders.
  • Strong pipeline management and forecasting skills.
  • Comfortable discussing technical products with senior engineers and CTOs.
  • Self-starter thriving in a remote, autonomous environment.
  • Passion for AI and transforming software development.
