What you will do

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and prepare journal entries at period end.
• Analyze accounts and transactions to determine accruals and report variances.
• Support external audits by responding to inquiries and providing documentation.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes and financial statement preparation.
• Support annual budget preparation and update accounting policies and procedures.
• Engage in cross-training and perform special projects as needed.

Requirements

• Must be onsite in Buffalo, NY, United States.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial accounting, auditing, or reporting.
• Knowledge of ERP systems, internal controls, and US-GAAP.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and strong analytical and communication skills.
• CPA preferred.
