Product Manager (Payments)

TL;DR

Product Manager (Payments): Own and develop payment products and features including deposits, withdrawals, payment routing, and compliance for a leading sports betting platform with an accent on payment orchestration, regulatory compliance, and high-risk transaction environments. Focus on driving strategic payment platform development, integration of new payment methods, and optimizing customer payment journeys.

Location: Onsite in Karlsruhe, Germany with relocation support

What you will do

• Own the full lifecycle of payment products and features from discovery to release and optimization
• Define Epics and User Stories, guiding development teams in an Agile environment
• Drive strategic development of payment platform including integration of new payment methods and payment orchestration capabilities
• Collaborate with architecture, engineering, business, and compliance teams to ensure accurate requirements and regulatory alignment
• Monitor and improve customer payment journeys and key KPIs
• Conduct UAT and ensure quality, compliance, and operational readiness

Requirements

• Must be located in or willing to relocate to Germany (Karlsruhe)
• Solid experience in payments product management including PSPs, APMs, banking rails, settlement flows, and reconciliation
• Familiarity with payment orchestration platforms and gateway integrations
• Understanding of transaction monitoring, risk control, and regulatory compliance (KYC, AML, PSD2, SCA)
• Experience working in Agile development environments with complex backend systems
• Customer-centric mindset and stakeholder management skills

• Background in iGaming, sports betting, or other high-scale, high-risk, real-time transaction environments
