What you will do

• Create clear and concise user assistance and how-to guides for internal systems.
• Organize content logically using Topic-Based Authoring principles to improve findability for developers.
• Ensure documentation adheres to internal templates and technical writing standards.
• Manage interviews with Subject Matter Experts despite limited availability.
• Lead the draft-to-publish process through rigorous stakeholder reviews.
• Create technical diagrams balancing graphics and text to complement documentation.

Requirements

• Must be located in Canada or able to work remotely from Canada.
• Proven experience as a Technical Writer in software engineering, familiar with Cloud computing and IaaS.
• Strong procedural writing skills for installation and troubleshooting documentation.
• Proficiency with Confluence, GitHub, Jira, and diagramming tools like Lucidchart, Visio, or draw.io.
• Excellent ability to grasp complex technical contexts quickly and work independently.
• Strong communication and interviewing skills to collaborate with senior engineering stakeholders.
