Data Analyst Intern

TL;DR

Data Analyst Intern (Data Analytics): Support the retooling of Wildfire Risk Suite products by identifying and organizing new datasets to improve wildfire risk ratings with an accent on data sourcing, structuring, and AI tool integration. Focus on finding data gaps, preparing data for production workflows, and collaborating with product management.

Location: 100% remote anywhere in the United States

What you will do

• Identify and source new data sets to fill gaps in wildfire risk models, including nationwide structure loss and electrical distribution data
• Organize datasets into formats suitable for production workflows
• Participate in planning meetings to explore AI tool integration opportunities
• Assist the project manager with assigned tasks

Requirements

• Must be located in the United States during the internship
• Currently enrolled undergraduate student available for a 10-week summer internship
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with AI tools and internet research aptitude
• Competence with Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel
