What you will do

• Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and product managers to translate business needs into ML deliverables.
• Improve playback quality of experience for Video on Demand, Live Events, and Linear Content.
• Develop and integrate new algorithms into existing modeling stacks and streamline processes.
• Detect, root-cause, and mitigate defects in customer streaming experience using ML/AI.
• Lead testing and evaluation strategies for ML models and solutions.

Requirements

• Must be located in the USA, preferably Seattle.
• 3+ years of experience building models for business applications.
• PhD or Master's degree with 4+ years in CS, CE, ML, or related fields.
• Proficiency in Java, C++, Python, or related programming languages.
• Experience with algorithms, data structures, numerical optimization, and distributed computing.

Nice to have

• Experience using Unix/Linux environments.
• Professional software development experience.
