Senior Systems Engineer

TL;DR

Senior Systems Engineer: Leading the development and delivery of infrastructure automation and analytics solutions for hirify.global platforms with an accent on building resilient and scalable systems using modern DevOps practices. Focus on enabling data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement through automation and analytics pipelines.

Location: Office Base is London Light House. This is a hybrid role and the successful candidate will balance office working with home working.

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000

What you will do

• Design and implement infrastructure automation workflows using tools like Rundeck, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Build and maintain containerised environments using Docker and Kubernetes for scalable deployments.
• Develop analytics pipelines and reporting dashboards using Python, SQL, and cloud-native services.
• Automate patching, compliance checks, and system health monitoring across hybrid environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate operational needs into technical solutions.
• Contribute to Agile delivery, code reviews, and continuous integration practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience in infrastructure automation using tools like Rundeck, Ansible, or PowerShell.
• Strong hands-on skills in containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Exposure to data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Grafana, Prometheus ).
• Experience with patching workflows, system compliance, and operational monitoring.
• Ability to evaluate and adopt emerging tools to improve platform reliability and efficiency.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with hirify.global tooling such as Splunk, SentinelOne, Confluence, or ServiceNow.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and serverless architecture.
• Advanced Python and SQL skills for building analytics pipelines and automated reporting.
