What you will do

• Design and implement infrastructure automation workflows using Rundeck, Ansible, and Terraform
• Build and maintain containerised environments with Docker and Kubernetes for scalable deployments
• Develop analytics pipelines and reporting dashboards using Python, SQL, and cloud-native services
• Automate patching, compliance checks, and system health monitoring across hybrid environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate operational needs into technical solutions
• Contribute to Agile delivery, code reviews, and continuous integration practices

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or near London, United Kingdom
• Proven experience in infrastructure automation with Rundeck, Ansible, or PowerShell
• Strong skills in containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with patching workflows, system compliance, and operational monitoring
• Exposure to data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Grafana, or Prometheus
• Ability to evaluate and adopt emerging tools to improve platform reliability and efficiency

Nice to have

• Familiarity with hirify.global tooling like Splunk, SentinelOne, Confluence, or ServiceNow
• Experience with AWS cloud platforms and serverless architecture
• Advanced Python and SQL skills for analytics pipelines and automated reporting
• Understanding of security best practices and audit frameworks
• Experience mentoring junior engineers or contributing to open-source automation projects
