What you will do

• Maintain derivative safety nets to prevent significant price deviations and flash crashes by tuning settings and resolving pricing alerts.
• Make decisions to halt or reopen derivative contracts and cancel aberrant trades based on rules and regulations.
• Monitor, report, and escalate derivative market irregularities following hirify.global procedures and regulatory frameworks including MIFIDII and Market Abuse rules.
• Maintain test environments and perform sanity checks on new trading platform releases to ensure production safety.
• Provide expertise and write requirements for various EMS Markets projects.
• Calculate high-quality daily settlement and expiry prices used for exchange closing and clearing house settlements.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or Science.
• Minimum three years of experience in the financial industry.
• Full professional proficiency in English is required; Dutch or French is a plus.
• Strong IT acumen; Python knowledge is a plus but not mandatory.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, organized, and able to bring structure.
• Ability to work in a virtual team across locations and take decisions under pressure.
