Engineering Systems Specialist

TL;DR

Engineering Systems Specialist (CAD/PLM/PDM): Provides operational support for engineering applications and integrations, focusing on stable day-to-day operations of CAD, PLM, PDM, and CAE tools, while supporting controlled upgrades and system improvements. Focus on diagnosing and resolving incidents across integrated engineering systems and maintaining technical documentation.

Location: Ferrara, Italy. The candidate will be primarily based at the office, with the possibility of remote work after the onboarding phase (up to 2 days per week).

What you will do

• Provide first and second level support for engineering applications (SolidWorks, COMOS, ECTR, etc.).
• Diagnose and resolve incidents across integrated engineering systems.
• Support and monitor integrations between engineering systems and ERP platforms.
• Perform routine system checks, configuration changes, updates, and patches.
• Deliver user training and onboarding for engineering tools.

Requirements

• Experience supporting engineering, CAD, or PLM systems in an enterprise environment.
• Practical understanding of integrated application landscapes.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Service-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.
• Experience working in an international or multi-site organization.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken

Nice to have

• German language skills are an advantage.
