TL;DR

Technical Seo Specialist (Marketing): Diagnosing and resolving technical SEO issues to optimize client websites for search engines and users with an accent on site speed, crawl management, and structured data implementation. Focus on improving Core Web Vitals, mobile usability, and collaborating with developers and content teams to drive measurable SEO growth.

Location: Must be based in the United States (Remote, permanent work-from-home)

What you will do

Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits to identify and fix crawl issues, broken links, and index bloat.
Optimize XML sitemaps, robots.txt, canonical tags, and manage index control.
Improve Core Web Vitals metrics and ensure mobile-first website optimization.
Deploy and validate structured data using JSON-LD to enhance SERP features.
Optimize internal linking architecture and collaborate with developers and content strategists.

Requirements

Must have 2+ years of experience in technical SEO, preferably agency experience.
Strong CMS knowledge including WordPress, Webflow, and Shopify.
Technical literacy in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript basics related to SEO.
Expertise with SEO tools like Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Sitebulb, and Search Atlas.
Fluent English required to communicate technical concepts effectively.
Ability to track KPIs using GA4 and Google Search Console.

Nice to have

Experience in Automotive or Local SEO.
Google Analytics or Google Search Console certifications.
Experience with schema markup and JavaScript frameworks like React or Vue.
