Focus on executing complex layout tasks, developing automation scripts, and collaborating with senior engineers on high-impact CPU design projects.

Location: Must be based in Mexico with unrestricted, permanent right to work

What you will do

• Execute physical layout design tasks adhering to best-in-class design practices and efficiency standards.
• Independently plan and drive complex physical design assignments from definition through completion.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to develop layout methodologies, automation scripts, and custom macros.
• Gain hands-on experience with physical implementation flows including floorplanning, routing, DRC, and LVS.
• Work cross-functionally with design, architecture, and verification teams.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM field.
• Advance English level required.
• Must have unrestricted, permanent right to work in Mexico; no visa sponsorship available.
• Familiarity or coursework in VLSI and CMOS logic circuit design preferred.
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems preferred.
