What you will do

• Design and implement foundation model architectures and optimize their performance through iterative experiments.
• Process and manage training data, ensuring data quality and creating reusable pipelines.
• Design and execute experiments to validate model capabilities in simulation and real-world robotic embodiments.
• Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to training infrastructure and evaluation tools.
• Conduct research, stay current with advancements in foundation models and robotics, and prepare technical documentation.
• Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and hardware teams to integrate AI models with robotic systems.

Requirements

• Must have a PhD or Master’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience in machine learning or algorithm development.
• 2+ years experience in deep learning, computer vision, and human-robot interaction.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, and Python.
• Experience with algorithms, data structures, numerical optimization, and high-performance computing.
• Publications or patents in top-tier conferences or journals.
• Location requirement: Must be able to work onsite in Sunnyvale, California, USA.
