What you will do

• Provide practical support, mentoring, advocacy, and problem-solving to patients.
• Educate patients and families on mental illness and addiction.
• Assist patients in setting and achieving recovery goals and joining self-help groups.
• Collaborate with treatment teams on recovery plans and community resource connections.
• Support patients' vocational choices and social skills development.
• Collect and report required data related to patient progress.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or able to work onsite in Virginia Beach, VA, USA.
• 2+ years of experience in behavioral health.
• Peer Recovery or Peer Recovery Coach certification preferred.
• High School degree or equivalent.
• English proficiency: B2 level or higher.
