Senior Software Engineer (Embedded IoT Dev)

What you will do

• Manage personal backlog, prioritize issues, and dive deep into technical issues.
• Lead the design of features and initiatives across the organization.
• Focus on firmware development of platform components for upcoming Ring battery-powered devices.
• Work on Linux and/or RTOS based SOCs.

Requirements

• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.
• Experience leading the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
• Experience in professional, non-internship software development.
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design.
• Experience in embedded development in C/C++.
• Experience in development in the last 3 years.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
