What you will do
- Manage personal backlog, prioritize issues, and dive deep into technical issues.
- Lead the design of features and initiatives across the organization.
- Focus on firmware development of platform components for upcoming Ring battery-powered devices.
- Work on Linux and/or RTOS based SOCs.
Requirements
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.
- Experience leading the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
- Experience in professional, non-internship software development.
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design.
- Experience in embedded development in C/C++.
- Experience in development in the last 3 years.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
