What you will do

• Own the design and evolution of core audio simulation and data generation systems to narrow the gap between simulated and real production audio.
• Model realistic audio signal chains including acoustic environments and downstream processing as in real voice-agent systems.
• Translate real customer and production audio into simulation assumptions focusing on perceptual and statistical relevance.
• Develop efficient DSP implementations for real-time, streaming, and large-scale offline data augmentation use cases.
• Build and maintain tooling and abstractions to make complex audio simulations configurable and reproducible.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in digital audio signal processing and acoustics with strong mathematical foundation and experience designing realistic audio simulations.
• Strong systems engineering skills with proficiency in Python and at least one low-level language (Rust, C, or C++).
• Startup mindset comfortable with ambiguity, ownership, and pragmatic engineering decisions.
• English language proficiency at least B2.
• On-site presence in Berlin, Germany is mandatory.
