TL;DR

What you will do

  • Design and create automated tests using tools like Playwright.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Designers, Engineers, and DevOps in cross-functional teams.
  • Embed quality early in the development lifecycle using BDD and Cucumber frameworks.
  • Coach and mentor junior engineers and partner resources.
  • Participate in Communities of Practice and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Location: Must be able to work hybrid with regular presence in Manchester office, UK
  • Experience with test automation tools such as Playwright or equivalents.
  • Knowledge of BDD frameworks, Cucumber, and Gherkin scripting.
  • Programming skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Growth mindset and willingness to learn.

Nice to have

  • Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub, Jenkins, Harness.
  • Agile methodology experience.
  • Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence.
  • UFT automation experience.
  • Core banking and end-user banking application knowledge.
