What you will do
- Create concept art and illustrations for spaceships, characters, and events in Stellaris.
- Work closely with artists, designers, and developers to ensure visual consistency and quality.
- Contribute to style guide development and participate in art reviews.
- Follow a structured creative process including research, iteration, and refinement.
- Translate gameplay and narrative requirements into clear visual designs.
Requirements
- Must be located in Stockholm, Sweden and work onsite.
- Experience in concept art and in-game illustration.
- Strong understanding of 2D art fundamentals: composition, lighting, color, material, and form.
- Ability to work within an established art direction and maintain quality.
- Clear communication skills and ability to give and receive feedback professionally.
Nice to have
- Passion for science fiction and strategy games, especially Stellaris.
- Experience with traditional drawing and UI art.
- Familiarity with tools like ZBrush, Blender, Maya, SketchUp, KeyShot, Octane, or 3D Coat.
